What’s up! My name is Mari, I’m 24 badass trans girl from Trenton, New Jersey. I work as a barista at a boba spot downtown during the day, and it’s a pretty chill job. At night though, I’m the drummer in a small, local all-girls indie band. We play all around town at bars, lounges, and outdoor venues, wherever we’re allowed to set up and jam really! Of course, it would be amazing to make it big but, if we don’t, I wouldn’t mind it either. Music is my biggest hobby and I enjoy it regardless of the reactions of others. It brings my soul peace and it’s a fun, enjoyable way to pass my time. Apart from that, my bandmates make me feels strong and empowered in my identity.
