I just recently got into roller blading a few months ago, and it’s my favorite thing in the world! I live in Bloomington MN and I was sitting on a bench at Southwood Park journaling one day after work, and this lady sat next to me to tie her skates and struck up a conversation. Next thing you know, I’m texting her asking her for advice on which skates to buy. God, I’m so easily influenced it’s crazy!! But I’m glad I ran into her and I’m doing something enjoyable now. I’m in a new city and have been struggling to find a community to be a part of. Luckily now, I’ve been making friends at skate parks all around the area, and it’s been so fulfilling! The only thing I’d love more than anything now is to dabble in romantic connections.
