Hey there! I’m Jazlyn, I’m 25, and I’m a PhD candidate at UTD in Richardson, TX while I live in Durant, Oklahoma which is a one hour drive from there. I’ve worked incredibly hard to be where I’m at right now, as I’m currently attending full time with a full ride that I was offered while still in undergrad. I am now in the second year in the Arts, Technology, and Emerging Communication program, and I love it. I’ve always been a woman of the arts, I love writing, playing instruments, singing, drawing, painting, dancing, everything! As trans woman, I also want to prove to the world that we are just as capable in these artistic fields. It really drives me in my pursuit of this degree to come out on top!
Outside of my scholarly passion though, I think I am ready to introduce a romantic interest into my life. I have been single for longer than I’d like to admit, so I’d like to try again in this fairly new environment. I’d love to meet a guy that is tenderhearted, calm and collected, and affectionate. I would enjoy doing things like reading, going to a play, or even having a picnic together. I want a soft kind of love, like those right out of a middle-aged romance novel. I’d love to believe that chivalry isn’t dead, so please prove that to me!
