I never expected to feel so good in my own skin. I’ve been on this journey for two years now, and I could not be happier. Of course, I am talking about my transition here. Moving to Laramie, Wyoming, in Albany County for family reasons has been good for me too. I am 34 and starting fresh here in the plains. That said, I still have to get used to the constant winds ! Especially in the winter days. Brrr. Ergo, my nickname is Windy (I really am Wendy). Anyway, I found a job in the higher education field, and I can make a decent living. I’ve been focusing on accepting myself, but I feel like I could shake things up a bit.
Well, not that much, as I am pretty laid-back. What I meant by that is that I’d like to have a boyfriend. It’s been a while, and you’d actually be my first ever since coming out as a MtF. Not that I am really vocal about it either. I’d like to take things slow with a man who’s as easygoing as I am. I found a love for outdoor activities and got myself some cross-country skiing equipment. We could warm each other up afterwards. Perhaps that’s something we could share together.
