My name is Tessa and I’m a 28-year-old trans-gender. I live in Wichita, Kansas. I am originally from Nebraska, but I was kicked out of my parents’ house after I came out to them and crossed the border to come and live with my aunt and uncle here in the East Front area. Funny enough, I now work full time in LGBTQ health advocacy. I spend my days going to places and teaching teens and young adults about safe queer sex, and it is very fulfilling. I used to be so shy and shelled up but, this field has allowed me to blossom into the beautiful, self-confident woman that I am today.
