A few more months and I’ll have to agree with my friends and admit that online dating blows ! So far, the only guys I’ve been in touch with were not serious at all. Well, they were ead serious on seeing me, but not for the type of relationship I had in mind. Can you really call a one night stand a relationship ? Some can apparently. So I am trying this new solution here, hoping that you guys are more inclined to meet for love. I guess I could also try to go out and date in a more traditional fashion. Thanks, but no thanks.
In fact, if I had to choose between staying single and having to go out and dealing with guys hitting on me at bars, I would choose the first option. I wish I could say it’s because I am trans and that I am scared of how people might react, etc. But truth be told, I just really hate going out lol. I am a really chill transwoman of 27, that’s all. I live in Battle Creek, St. Paul, Minesota in the Twin Cities so I am surrounded by open minded people. At least, when compared to the rural place I grew up in. It’s just that I prefer staying in my sweatpants, ordering some food or baking some cookies to watch in front of TV or while reading a good book. Not the best way to find love I know. That’s why I put my hopes in online dating.
