Hey there. My name’s Shirly and I am 36 years old. I was born and raised in a small rural town in Northwest Arkansas. I moved to Bentonville, the local “big city” a few years back. It’s not LA or NYC, but I like it here. I was not made for living out in the deep country. Being trans back there is hard. Not that I was persecuted. I was just misunderstood. Living here is easier as people are more into let and let live. People don’t really mind me. And that’s great as I am a pretty lonely person. Plus, I found a job in the healthcare system that allows me to work the crazy shifts that nobody else wanted.
You’ll find me eating alone at some local diners or going on strolls in the city parks and such. I also love gardening. I’ll even speak to my plants sometimes. Ya, I am pretty excentric to say the least. That makes me charming I believe. That being said, it’s been a while since I had a serious boyfriend, and I’ve never actually lived with one. That could be a change of pace. But no man has actually wanted to commit like that since I am transgender. Even so, I am in no rush. It’ll happen someday.
