I seriously don’t know how some people get to smile and be happy all the time. I can hardly do it every day. Life as transwoman mother of 2 in shared custody is not easy, I’ll tell you that. This last piece of information might has discouraged some of you. I get it, and I am used to it. But it is what it is and I love my kids more than anything in the world. Something that my ex boyfriend did not understand and could not live with. Not that I am looking for my future lover to become a paternal figure for my kid, just to accept their role and their importance in my life.
Anyway, enough about that part of my life. My name’s Amanda and I am 42 years old. I live in Crown Point, San Diego in a cozy condo at walkable distance from the park and I’ve got a good paying job that actually treats me decently. It really is in my personal life that things are tougher so having a caring and loving boyfriend would really help bring some joy. And perhaps make me smile. I’ve been told I have a great smile, it’s just hard to remember sometimes. Looking back, I might sound a bit depressed, but give me a chance and you’ll discover a wonderful person.
